Pardon me if you’ve seen news of this all over the place this week, but it’s a post that feels like an honest and invigorating contribution to the world of books and art.

It’s my chat with Francoise Mouly over at Design Mom. It was an honor and a thrill! Don’t miss it. She is fascinating, smart, and I’m so thankful for her thoughts and her mission.

Happy weekend!

Wonderful interview, Carter! Her explanation of her favorite New Yorker cover was touching and inspiring, and her thoughts on balancing being a mother with her creative work really resonated with me.
